Two ways to think about dividing!
Share equally between groups.
12 ÷ 3 = ?
12 sweets shared between 3 friends = 4 each
How many equal groups can you make?
20 ÷ 5 = ?
Group 20 eggs into 5s → 4 boxes
💡 Remember:
Division undoes multiplication! If 3 × 5 = 15, then 15 ÷ 5 = 3 and 15 ÷ 3 = 5.
